Allen Meadows - Score: 91-93 (2017 January)

Pronounced Vosne-style exotic spice elements add plenty of interest to the plum, violet, lavender and sandalwood-scented nose. There is plenty of sappy dry extract that imparts a velvety mouth feel to the mid-palate of the opulent medium weight flavors where the strikingly persistent finish is less mineral-driven but more powerful. This distinctly firm effort is very impressive and I particularly like the balance.
